Removal and Replacement
2009 Mazda CX-9 FWD V6-3.7LSECTION Removal and Replacement
REQUEST SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM]
Driver Side/Passenger Side
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Inner garnish Inner Garnish Removal/Installation
b. Front door trim Front Door Trim Removal/Installation
c. Front door speaker Front Door Speaker Removal/Installation
d. Front door glass Service and Repair
e. Front door module Front Door Module Removal/Installation
3. Remove the screw A, then remove the handle seat.
4. Remove screw B, then remove the request switch.
Liftgate
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.
3. Remove the liftgate side trim.
4. Remove the liftgate lower trim.
5. Remove the rear finisher.
6. Press the tabs and remove the request switch.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
