Vehicle Ride Height





SUSPENSION DESIGN HEIGHT SETTING

NOTE:Make sure the vehicle is on a flat, level surface, such as a drive-on hoist.
1. Jounce the vehicle's front and rear suspension to normalize the vehicle static ride height.

2. Measure the ride height.

NOTE:The torsion bar adjusting bolt is coated with a thread locking compound that wears off after disassembly. If the torsion bar system is ever disassembled or if the torsion bar adjusting bolt is ever removed, use a new torsion bar adjusting bolt when assembling.Adjust the ride height as follows:

- To increase the ride height, tighten the torsion bar adjusting bolt.
- To decrease the ride height, loosen the torsion bar adjusting bolt.
