CAUTION:
Do not remove the ignition lock cylinder and the ignition switch at the same time or damage to the column can result.
- Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS). See SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING .
- Remove the steering column opening trim.
- Remove the 3 lower steering column shroud screws.
- Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
- Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
- Remove the ignition switch by pressing the 2 tabs and pulling the ignition switch outward.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure. Repower the SRS. See SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING .
