Removal and Installation

2008 Mazda Tribute s Sport, 4WDSECTION Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .

  2. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove the two screws and the TP sensor.
    CAUTION:
    • Be sure to hand start the TP sensor screws. These are self-threading screws. Failure to hand start them can cause damage to the throttle body.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
