A/C Clutch Relay

2008 Mazda Tribute s Sport, 4WDSECTION A/C Clutch Relay

Refer to terminal numbers molded on A/C clutch relay. Measure resistance between terminals No. 1 and 2. Resistance reading should be 40-120 ohms. See Fig 1 . If resistance readings are not as specified, replace A/C clutch relay. Check for continuity between terminals No. 3 and 4 and between terminals No. 3 and 5. There should be no continuity. If continuity is present, replace A/C clutch relay. For additional testing of A/C clutch relay circuit, refer to appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
