SAS Control Module Bracket: Removal

- Before proceeding, See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL . Drain engine coolant. Disconnect heater hoses from heater unit. Using appropriate discharge and recovery equipment, discharge A/C system. Remove and seal refrigerant lines. Remove cooling and heater units.
- Remove SAS control module from vehicle. See SAS CONTROL MODULE . Disconnect wiring harness clips from SAS control module bracket. Remove heater duct. Remove SAS bracket nuts, bolts and bracket.
