SAS Control Module Bracket: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONSΒ . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ . Remove instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANELΒ . Drain engine coolant. Disconnect heater hoses from heater unit. Using appropriate discharge and recovery equipment, discharge A/C system. Remove and seal refrigerant lines. Remove cooling and heater units.
  2. Remove SAS control module from vehicle. See SAS CONTROL MODULEΒ . Disconnect wiring harness clips from SAS control module bracket. Remove heater duct. Remove SAS bracket nuts, bolts and bracket.
