WARNING:
- Handling the air bag module improperly can accidentally deploy the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS before handling the air bag module. (See SERVICE WARNINGS .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Inspect the shift-lock. (See SHIFT-LOCK INSPECTIONΒ .)
- Inspect the shift-lock release lever. (See SHIFT-LOCK RELEASE LEVER INSPECTIONΒ .)
- Inspect the key interlock system. (See KEY INTERLOCK INSPECTIONΒ ).
