Actuator Cable Removal

2008 Mazda Tribute s Sport, 4WDSECTION Actuator Cable Removal

  1. Remove the cover from the cruise actuator.
  2. Remove the plug hole plate. (See TIMING CHAIN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Move the throttle in the direction of the arrow and hold.
  4. Remove the end fitting of the actuator cable from the throttle.

  5. Squeeze the hooks of the grommet, and remove the actuator cable.

  6. Remove the end fitting of the actuator cable from the cruise actuator.

  7. Squeeze the hooks of the grommet, and remove it from the cruise actuator.
  8. Remove the actuator cable.
