Water Pump Removal/Installation: AJ: Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the under cover.
  3. Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ] .)
  4. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENTΒ .)
  5. Remove the water pump drive belt pulley. (See WATER PUMP DRIVE BELT PULLEY REMOVAL NOTE .)
  6. Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1.
