- Move the white locking tab A to the unlock position.
- If stopper B will not unlock, it may be necessary to carefully bend tab C out using a suitable tool.
- Turn stopper B to the unlock position.
- To adjust the free play, push or pull the throttle cable housing directly behind the spring.
- Measure the throttle cable free play, making sure that it is within the specification.

- 1.5-4.0 mm {0.06-0.15 in}Β
- Turn stopper B to lock position.
- Move the white locking tab A to the lock position.
- Verify correct accelerator operation.
