- Close the door glass completely.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the door screen. (See FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the door key cylinder switch connector.
- Disconnect the rods.
- Remove the nuts, and remove the outer handle.
- Remove the pin, and remove the door key cylinder switch from the outer handle.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
