Hood Alignment

2008 Mazda Tribute s Sport, 4WDSECTION Hood Alignment

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Loosen the 4 upper hood hinge bolts.
    • Loosen the upper hood hinge bolts to the point where the hood slightly moves.

  3. Adjust the hood to align the hood-to-fender gaps.
  4. Tighten the 4 upper hood hinge bolts.
    • Tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb-ft).
  5. Adjust the hood bumpers to make the hood flush to the fenders.
