  1. Warm up engine to normal operating temperature and let idle.
  2. Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM, then quickly release throttle.
  3. Using screwdriver or stethoscope, listen to each fuel injector for operating sound. Ensure that injectors are not operating above about 2500 RPM.
