Remove the liftgate trim panel. See LIFTGATE TRIM PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
Remove the 4 liftgate trim bezel nuts and remove the bezel from the liftgate.
- Disconnect the liftgate window release electrical connector. -
- Using an appropriate tool, press the tabs and remove the liftgate window release switch.
- To install, tighten to 8 N.m {0.8 kgf.m, 71 in.lbf}.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
