- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING .
- Remove the intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD - 2.3L REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Remove the bolt and the knock sensor (KS).
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm {2.0 kgf.m, 15 ft.lbf}.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
