Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor - 3.0L (4V) Removal/Installation
2008 Mazda Tribute s Sport, 4WDSECTION Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor - 3.0L (4V) Removal/Installation
- Drain the cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING - 3.0L (4V) .
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the ECT sensor.
- Pull upward on the locking tab.
- Rotate the sensor counterclockwise and remove.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
