INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTC CHART

DTC Description Action
B1137 Data Not Programmed The integrated keyhead transmitter (IKT) data has not transferred from the instrument cluster into the smart junction box (SJB). PROGRAM the IKT keys. See INTEGRATED KEYHEAD TRANSMITTER (IKT) KEY PROGRAMMING USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B1138 Memory Full The SJB has 4 IKTs stored in memory and cannot program any more IKTs into the SJB memory. See PINPOINT TEST 7: THE DOORS DO NOT LOCK/UNLOCK USING THE REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTERΒ  .
B1139 Invalid Transmitter Identification Code See PINPOINT TEST 7: THE DOORS DO NOT LOCK/UNLOCK USING THE REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTERΒ  .
B1213 Anti-Theft Number of Programmed Keys Is Below Minimum If DTCs B1600, B1601, B1602, B1681 or B2103 are present, they must be addressed first. If DTC B1213 is the only DTC present, PROGRAM additional keys. See INTEGRATED KEYHEAD TRANSMITTER (IKT) KEY PROGRAMMING USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT . CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition. REPEAT the self-test.
B1342 ECU is Faulted CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . PROGRAM the PATS keys into the instrument cluster. See INTEGRATED KEYHEAD TRANSMITTER (IKT) KEY PROGRAMMING USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT . CYCLE the ignition. REPEAT the self-test.
B1600 PATS Ignition Key Transponder Signal Is Not Received No PATS key has been read by the instrument cluster. See PINPOINT TEST 2: DTC B1600 - PATS IGNITION KEY TRANSPONDER SIGNAL IS NOT RECEIVEDΒ  .
B1601 PATS Received Incorrect Key-Code From Ignition Key Transponder There is an unprogrammed PATS key. See PINPOINT TEST 3: DTC B1601 - PATS RECEIVED INCORRECT KEY-CODE FROM IGNITION KEY TRANSPONDERΒ  .
B1602 PATS Received Invalid Format of Key-Code From Ignition Key Transponder Only a partial PATS key was read. See PINPOINT TEST 4: DTC B1602 - PATS RECEIVED INVALID FORMAT OF KEY-CODE FROM IGNITION KEY TRANSPONDERΒ  .
B1681 PATS Transceiver Module Signal Is Not Received The instrument cluster did not receive the PATS transceiver signal. See PINPOINT TEST 5: DTC B1681 - PATS TRANSCEIVER MODULE SIGNAL IS NOT RECEIVEDΒ  .
B2103 Antenna Not Connected There has been a PATS transceiver antenna failure. See PINPOINT TEST 1: B2103 - ANTENNA NOT CONNECTEDΒ  .
B2141 NVM Configuration Failure There is no PCM ID stored in the instrument cluster. CARRY OUT a parameter reset of the instrument cluster and PCM, then CYCLE the ignition and make an attempt to start the vehicle. See PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
B2431 Transponder Programming Failed The ignition key was not programmed. Attempt to PROGRAM the key. See INTEGRATED KEYHEAD TRANSMITTER (IKT) KEY PROGRAMMING USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT . CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition. REPEAT the self-test.
U0294 Lost Communication With Powertrain Control Monitor Module See COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - TROUBLESHOOTING .
U2510 CAN - Invalid data for Vehicle Security CARRY OUT a parameter reset of the instrument cluster and the PCM and CYCLE the ignition 3-5 times, making an attempt to start the vehicle each key cycle. See PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET . CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U2510 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . TEST the system for normal operation.
U2511 CAN - Data Mis-Match (Receive Data Does Not Match Expected) CARRY OUT a parameter reset of the instrument cluster and the PCM and CYCLE the ignition 3-5 times, making an attempt to start the vehicle each key cycle. See PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET . CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U2511 is retrieved again, INSTALL a new instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . TEST the system for normal operation.
