Hood Latch Release Handle Removal/Installation
2008 Mazda Tribute s Sport, 4WDSECTION Hood Latch Release Handle Removal/Installation
- Remove the hood latch. See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the 3 hood latch release handle cable guides.
- Note the routing of the hood latch release cable.
- Remove the hood latch release handle bolt.
- To install, tighten to 11 N.m {1.1 kgf.m, 8 ft.lbf}.
- Remove the hood latch release handle and cable assembly.
- Pull the hood latch release cable through the cowl panel.
NOTE:- The hood latch release handle and cable assembly must be pulled through the cowl panel into the passenger compartment.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
