NOTE:
  • The time out for the battery saver relay and the accessory delay relay is 1 minute if the vehicle has less than 80 km (50 miles). For additional information on the battery saver relay, see PINPOINT TEST 9: THE BATTERY SAVER DOES NOT DEACTIVATE AFTER TIME-OUT 09-01C-108. For additional information on the accessory delay relay, See PINPOINT TEST 9: THE DELAYED ACCESSORY IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY . Once the vehicle passes the approximate mileage threshold of 80 km (50 miles), the time out for both relays will be the normal 10 minute time out, as described by the Owner's Literature.

The smart junction box (SJB) is the only multifunction control module on this vehicle. The SJB is located under the front (passenger side floor) console. The SJB is a combination of a multifunction control module and a central junction box (CJB). The following systems are controlled by the SJB:

  • Auto locks
  • Exterior lamps
  • Illuminated entry and interior lamps
  • Keyless entry keypad
  • Power door locks
  • Remote keyless entry (RKE) system
  • Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)

The SJB is located under the front (passenger side floor) console.
