PID/DATA MONITOR DESCRIPTION

PID Name (Definition) Unit/Condition Condition/Specification Action TPMS control module terminal
CCNT_TPMS (Number of continuous trouble codes) -
  • DTCs are detected: 1-255
  • No DTCs are not detected:
Perform the inspection using appropriate DTC. -
LAST-D(1) (Last received tire transmitter ID code value) - Indicates the last ID that is transmitted from the wheel unit.
  • Replace the wheel unit.
  • Perform the configuration.
-
PRS_WU1(1) PRS_WU2(1) PRS_WU3(1) PRS_WU4(1) (Tire pressure) kPa/psi Indicates the tire pressure.
  • Adjust tire pressure.
  • Replace the wheel unit.
-
TEMP_WU1(1) TEMP_WU2(1) TEMP_WU3(1) TEMP_WU4(1) (Temperature) Celsius/Fahrenheit Indicates the tire temperature. Replace the wheel unit. -
VBATT (Battery positive voltage) V
  • Ignition switch ON: B+
  • Ignition switch OFF: 0V
  • Inspect the battery.
  • Inspect the related wiring harness.
K
VSS (Vehicle speed) KPH/MPH
  • Vehicle is stopped: 0 KPH {0 MPH}
  • Vehicle is running: Indicates vehicle speed
Inspect the PCM. -
WARN-1 WARN_2 WARN_3 WARN_4 (Transmitter identifier) - Indicates the failed wheel unit identifier. Replace the wheel unit. -
(1) Data transmission from the wheel unit occurs when the vehicle speed is 25 km/h {15.5 mph} or more.  Due to this, the current air pressure and temperature data can only be displayed after the vehicle is driven at 25 km/h {15.5 mph} or more.  Also, the LAST_ID, and tire pressure and internal tire air temperature data are erased when the TPMS control unit connector and the battery terminal are disconnected. If the TPMS control unit is replaced or the battery terminals are disconnected, drive the vehicle at 25 km/h {15.5 mph} or more  and display the tire pressure PID after the data transmission.
