Spark Plug Removal/Installation[L3 With TC]

2008 Mazda CX-7 Touring, 2.3 3, AWDSECTION Spark Plug Removal/Installation[L3 With TC]
CAUTION:
  • If a spark plug that is not as specified is installed, engine performance will be deteriorated. Install only the specified spark plug when replacing.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the charge air cooler. (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[L3 WITH TC] ).
  3. Remove the ignition coils. (See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[L3 WITH TC]Β .)
  4. Remove the spark plugs using a plug-wrench.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Tightening torqueΒ 

    10-14 N.m {1.1-1.4 kgf.m, 8.0-10 ft.lbf}Β
