Continuity Inspection

2008 Mazda CX-7 Touring, 2.3 3, AWDSECTION Continuity Inspection
NOTE:
  • Perform the following test only when directed.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion.
  3. Remove the service hole cover.
  4. Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector.

  5. Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit connector terminals B and D.
    • If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump body.
    • If as specified, carry out the "Circuit Open/ Short Inspection".
