- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2 connector.
- After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.
- When using the IDS (laptop PC)
- Select "Module Programming".
- When using the PDS (pocket PC)
- Select "Programming".
- Select "Module Programming".
- When using the IDS (laptop PC)
- Then, select items from the screen menu in the following order.
- Select "Programmable Module Installation".
- Select "RKE".
- Perform the configuration according to the directions on the screen.
- Retrieve DTCs by the M-MDS, then verify that there are no DTC present. If a DTC is present, perform the applicable DTC inspection. See DTC INSPECTION/IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (ADVANCED KEYLESS SYSTEM)]
