Resistance Inspection

2008 Mazda 6 s Touring, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Resistance Inspection
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the CKP sensor connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between CKP sensor terminals A and B using an ohmmeter.
    • If the CKP sensor is okay, but the PID value is out of specification, perform the "Circuit Open/Short Inspection".
    • If not as specified, replace the CKP sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR INSPECTION [AJ] ).
