WARNING:
- A hot engine can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until it is cool before removing the ECT sensor.
- Drain the engine coolant. (See COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [L3, AJ] ).
- Disconnect the ECT sensor connector.
- Remove the ECT sensor.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.

- Refill the engine coolant. (See COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [L3, AJ] ).
