DTC P0882 [FS5A-EL] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

DTC P0882 Battery back-up power supply circuit
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • When the signal of the battery back-up power supply circuit is less than 2.5 V. 

Diagnostic support note: 
  • This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
  • The MIL does not illuminate if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • The PENDING CODE is available if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
  • The AT warning light not illuminates.
  • The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Melted ENG+B 10 A fuse
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between battery positive terminal and TCM terminal 1K
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between battery positive terminal and TCM terminal 1K
  • Poor connection of TCM connector
  • TCM malfunction
