Security Light

- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Verify the security light state.
- If there is any malfunction:
- After any malfunction is detected, the security light will function as follows for approx. 1 min.
- DTC 16 and lower: Flashes
- DTC 21 and higher: Illuminated
- After any malfunction is detected, the security light will function as follows for approx. 1 min.
- If there is no malfunction:
- The security light illuminates for approx. 3 sΒ and goes out.
- If there is any malfunction:
- When any malfunction has been detected, read DTCs via flashing patterns displayed after the security light flashes or is illuminated for approx. 1 min.Β
- Perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection.
NOTE:- A verified DTC is flashed 10 times repeatedly by the security light.Β
- If multiple DTCs are verified, the security light displays only the smallest DTC.Β

When to See a Mechanic
