DSC Configuration

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION DSC Configuration

  1. Connect the M-MDS or equivalent to the DLC-2.

  2. After the vehicle is identified, from the initial screen select the following items:
    • When using the IDS (laptop PC)Β 
      1. Select the "Module Programming"
    • When using the PDS (Pocket PC)Β 
      1. Select the "Programming"
      2. Select the "Module Programming"
  3. Select "Programmable Module Installation".
  4. Select "ABS/TCS".
  5. Perform the configuration according to the directions on the screen.
  6. Retrieve DTCs using the M-MDS, then verify if DTCs are present.
  7. Clear DTCs using the M-MDS or equivalent, then verify that there is no DTC present.
