  1. Connect the M-MDS or equivalent to the DLC-2.

  2. After the vehicle is identified, from the initial screen select the following items:
    • When using the IDS (laptop PC)Β 
      1. Select the "Tool Box" tab
      2. Select "Powertrain"
      3. Select "OBD Test Modes"
      4. Select "Mode 6 On-Board Test Results"
    • When using the PDS (Pocket PC)Β 
      1. Select "OBDII Test Modes"
      2. Select "Mode 6 On-Board Test Results"
  3. Verify the diagnostic monitoring test results according to the directions on the screen.
