Remove intake-air hose. Disconnect vacuum hose from variable tumble control solenoid valve. Connect a vacuum pump to VTCS shutter valve actuator. Apply vacuum and verify VTCS shutter valve actuator rod moves. See VTCS SHUTTER VALVE VACUUM APPLICATION - MAZDA6 (2.3L)Β .
