- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts.
- Battery and battery tray
- Air cleaner component (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] ) (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ] )
- Center console
- Dashboard completely (See DASHBOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. )
- SAS control module (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Climate control unit (See CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL [L3, AJ] ) (See CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT INSTALLATION [L3, AJ] )
- Rear heat duct (See REAR HEAT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3, AJ] )
- Remove in the order shown in the figure.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
