- Remove the stabilizer control link from the vehicle. (See FRONT STABILIZER REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ ).
- Inspect for bending and damage.
- Measure the ball joint starting torque.
- Rock the ball joint stud side to side 10 times.
- Rotate the ball joint stud 10 times.
- Measure the starting torque using a suitable alien socket and a torque wrench.
