Front Lower Arm (Rear) Inspection

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Front Lower Arm (Rear) Inspection

  1. Remove the lower arm (rear) from the vehicle. (See FRONT LOWER ARM (REAR) REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ ).
  2. Inspect for damage, cracks, and bending.
  3. Inspect the ball joint rotational torque.
    1. Rotate the ball joint five times.
    2. Measure the rotational torque using a suitable alien socket and a torque wrench.
      • If not within the specification, replace the lower arm component.
