CAUTION:
- Do not tap the steering knuckle with a hammer. The steering knuckle may be damaged.
- If the steering knuckle is tapped with a hammer, the steering knuckle must be replaced with a new one.
- If the steering knuckle bushing is raised during the ball joint disconnecting operation, remove the knuckle bushing and replace it with a new one.
- Insert a washer between the SSTΒ and the nut to prevent damage to the locknut.
- Disconnect the ball joint using the SST.Β
- If the ball joint cannot be disconnected in Step Β 2, tap the SSTΒ from the bottom using a copper hammer.
