Seat Weight Sensor Control Module Removal/Installation [Except L3 With TC]: Removal

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.Β 
  3. Remove the front passenger's seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [EXCEPT L3 WITH TC]. )
  4. Remove the seat weight sensor control module connector.
  5. Remove the seat weight sensor control module installation rivets using a drill.
  6. Remove the seat weight sensor control module.
