- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- For MTX vehicle, remove the shift lever knob.
- Remove the panel No.1 using a tape-wrapped screwdriver.
- Remove the panel No.2 using a tape-wrapped screwdriver, disconnect the cigarette lighter connector, and remove the front ashtray illumination.
- Rotate the wiring harness clip installed on the cradle 90° in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure and pull it out. (with car-navigation system)
- Disconnect the cradle connector.
- Remove the screws.
- Remove the seat warmer switch. (See SEAT WARMER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. )
- Disconnect the accessory socket connector.
- Remove the console.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
