Fuel Pump Resistor Removal/Installation

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Fuel Pump Resistor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC] .
  2. Remove the air cleaner. See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect the fuel pump resistor connector.
  4. Remove in the fuel pump resistor.

  5. Install in the order as shown in the figure.

    Tightening torqueΒ 

    4.2-6.2 N.m {43-63 kgf.cm, 38-54 in.lbf}Β 

  6. Connect the fuel pump resistor connector.
