  • When the keyless control module is replaced
    • Have one or more card keys to be programmed after the replacement.
    • Have two or more keys to be programmed after the replacement.
  • When the keyless control module is not to be replaced
    • Have one or more card keys to be programmed.
    • Have two or more keys to be programmed after the replacement.
      CAUTION:
      • Perform the procedures in the following order: "Key ID number clearing", "Card key programming", "Steering lock unit programming", and "Key programming". If there is a failure in the programming, the engine may not be started.
      • When replacing only the PCM, start from Step Β 2. Key 1 in the procedure can be any valid key.
      • Perform the "card key programming procedure" in Step Β 9 only when the keyless control module is replaced.
      • Perform the "steering lock unit programming procedure" in Step Β 10 only when either the keyless control module or steering lock unit is replaced.
