Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor

The IAT sensor inputs an air temperature signal to the PCM. The IAT sensor resistance reading changes in response to air temperature. The IAT sensor resistance reading decreases as air temperature increases. For the IAT sensor location, see IAT SENSOR LOCATIONSΒ  table.
