SAS Control Module: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONSΒ . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ .
  2. SAS control module is located under center of instrument panel. Roll back carpet to access SAS control module. Disconnect unit connector and remove retaining nuts. See Figure. Remove SAS control module.
