Door Key Cylinder Switch Removal/Installation

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Door Key Cylinder Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Close the door glass completely.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the door screen. (See FRONT DOOR LOCK AND OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
  4. Disconnect the door key cylinder switch connector.
  5. Disconnect the rods.
  6. Remove the nuts, and remove the outer handle.
  7. Remove the pin, and remove the door key cylinder switch from the outer handle.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
