Shift Lock Control Unit: Protege5

Remove the shift lock control unit. See SHIFT LOCK CONTROL UNITΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Connect harness connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at each shift lock control unit terminal. See Fig 1 . If voltage is not as specified, inspect components listed under ACTION column. If no problems are found with any components or wiring harnesses, replace the shift lock control unit. See SHIFT LOCK CONTROL UNITΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
