Starter Removal/Installation: AJ

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION AJ

  1. Remove the battery and the battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ] .)
  3. Disconnect the selector cable and the selector cable bracket. (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (ATX)
  4. Position the harness bracket out of the way. (ATX)
  5. Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1 and Fig 2.
