  1. Disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle control linkage and bracket.

  2. Release the cruise control cable cap.
    1. Depress the cruise control cable cap retaining tab.
    2. Rotate the cruise control cable cap.

  3. Remove the cruise control cable.
    1. Depress the spring retainer.
    2. Slide the core wire end out of the cruise control servo pulley and remove the cruise control cable.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
