  1. Remove the hood latch release handle bolts.
  2. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to HOOD LATCHΒ  .

  3. Remove the two hood latch release handle cable locators.
    NOTE:
    • The hood latch release handle cable must be pulled through the dash panel into the passenger compartment.
  4. Remove the hood latch release handle.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
