- Remove the hood latch release handle bolts.
- Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to HOOD LATCH .
- Remove the two hood latch release handle cable locators.NOTE:
- The hood latch release handle cable must be pulled through the dash panel into the passenger compartment.
- Remove the hood latch release handle.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
