  1. Position the boot aside.

  2. Loosen the pinch bolt/nut and disconnect the steering column shaft from the flexible coupling.

  3. Remove the steering gear coupling.
    1. Position aside the rubber boot.
    2. Remove the pinch bolt.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
