IMCC Actuator Operation Test: Notes

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the IMCC actuator connector.
  3. Remove the IMCC actuator. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ  .)
  4. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal A and ground to terminal B.

  5. Verify that the IMCC actuator operates.
    • If not specified, replace the IMCC actuator.
    • If as specified, carry out the "Circuit Open/Short Inspection". See CIRCUIT OPEN/SHORT INSPECTIONΒ  .
