Audio Control Switch Removal/Installation: Notes

NOTE:
  • For vehicles with the cruise control system, the audio control switch harness and the cruise control switch harness are united, therefore they cannot be separated.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the drive-side air bag module. (See DUAL-STAGE DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .)
  3. Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL & COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove in the order indicated. See Fig 1 .

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
