2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Liftgate Lock And Opener Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative cable.
  2. Remove the liftgate lower trim. (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. To remove the liftgate outer handle, remove the rear finisher.
  4. Remove the order indicated in the figure.

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
