Circuit Open/Short Inspection: Notes

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the PCM connector. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Connect the SST  (104 Pin Breakout Box) with the PCM disconnected.
  4. Tighten the connector bolt.

    Tightening torque 

    3.0-5.4 N.m {30-56 kgf.cm, 27-48 in.lbf} 

  5. Check the following wiring harnesses for open or short (continuity check).
